Your calculation inputs stay in your browser.
Calculation data
HitEquals performs calculations in your browser. It does not require an account and does not send the values entered into calculator fields to a HitEquals application server for processing.
Who is responsible
HitEquals is the publisher responsible for the site-level choices described here. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent through the contact form. Google, Cloudflare, WhatsApp, and other services you choose to use process data under their own policies.
Analytics and infrastructure
Google Analytics 4 is optional. Its tag does not load until you select “Accept analytics” or enable Analytics in Privacy choices. When enabled, it can measure page views, device class, approximate geography, and interactions. HitEquals disables Google advertising signals and ad personalization in its analytics configuration.
Cloudflare delivers and protects the site. It may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser details, requested URL, security signals, and timestamps. Cloudflare Web Analytics may collect performance measurements without using cookies or tracking visitors across unrelated sites.
Browser storage
Your consent decision, favorites, color theme, text-size choices, recent answers (your tape) and daily puzzle progress are stored locally on your device and are not sent to us. The service worker may cache public site files for faster or offline use. Comparison cards last for the current page session. The Cookie Policy identifies these categories and explains how to remove them.
Actions you choose
Copy link places the current inputs in the page URL. Share, WhatsApp and Email send a result summary, with a link that contains your inputs, to the service you select. Printing or downloading creates output on your device. Use these actions only for information you intend to disclose.
Your choices and rights
Use the Privacy choices control in the footer to accept, reject, or change optional Analytics. You can also block or delete cookies and site storage through your browser. HitEquals remains usable after rejecting Analytics and does not require an account.
HitEquals does not currently sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or load advertising tags. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or information about processing. Because calculator inputs stay in your browser and the site has no accounts, HitEquals normally cannot identify a calculation as belonging to a particular person.
Contact form
The contact form sends your message (and your email, only if you add it) by email to the people who run the site; it is not stored on the site. To stop spam it uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which loads only when you start typing and checks that you are not a robot; Cloudflare receives your IP address for this. Sending goes through Resend, our email provider.
Retention
Site preferences remain on the device until you change or clear them. Google and Cloudflare apply their own retention periods to information they process. Security and delivery records are retained only under the service provider's operational settings and legal obligations.
Children and sensitive information
The site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children under 13. Avoid entering names, account numbers, medical record identifiers, or other personal information; the calculators do not need them.

Privacy or correction questions can be sent through the contact form. This policy may change when the service or its vendors change; the effective date above identifies the current version.
