About HitEquals
Useful answers, with the work shown.
HitEquals, formerly Calculator24 (calculator24.app), is an independent calculator library built for everyday decisions in the United States and for anyone who prefers US English. Every tool is free, requires no account, and pairs the result with its formula, assumptions, examples, limits, and source references when authoritative guidance is available.
What makes the library different
The result updates as you type. You can copy, share, compare, print, or download it without creating an account. US customary units and dollars appear first where they fit the task, while metric and international conversions remain available.
HitEquals does not hide uncertainty behind a precise-looking number. Financial, health, tax, construction, and scientific pages explain where an estimate ends and a professional or official decision begins.
How we work
Calculator definitions live in version-controlled source files. Automated tests exercise formulas, edge cases, invalid inputs, mobile layouts, and unusually large values. The methodology page explains the review process and correction policy.
Publisher and editorial responsibility
HitEquals is an independently owned and maintained web product. “HitEquals Editorial” identifies the publishing function responsible for the formula implementation, explanatory guide, source list, release checks, and corrections on each calculator page. It does not imply that every page was written or reviewed by a licensed professional.
Pablo Valenzuela Andrade develops and publishes HitEquals. He holds a Chilean professional title in computer engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering; neither is a US clinical, tax, or financial license.
Automation, including AI-assisted drafting and code generation, may support production. A page is eligible for publication only when it has a working calculator, a stated equation, calculator-specific inputs and limits, a reproducible example, visible references, and passing calculation and interface checks. Sensitive decisions still require the official source or a qualified professional named in the page limitations.
Why the site exists
The library is built to help a visitor complete a calculation and understand what produced the answer. Pages are not created merely to restate another calculator or capture a search phrase. When two search terms need the same inputs, equation, and explanation, HitEquals consolidates them into one stronger page.
Contact
Questions and correction reports are welcome. Use the contact form and include the calculator URL, the inputs you used, the result you expected, and the source that supports the correction.
